‘Lalique x Latest Revival’ Celebrate Influential Women

What does it mean to you to be an influential woman?

An influential woman is one who passes along her knowledge to everyone around her in hopes that they can learn from her failures and successes. She goes after what she wants with abandon, and brings others along with her.

What led you to your current position?

Hard work, determination and big dreams.

Who is a powerful woman that you admire and why?

Melinda Gates. She has been blessed with extraordinary wealth and chooses to use her time to change the trajectory of so many lives for generations to come.

What is your passion and how has it impacted your career?

Charity auctioneering is my passion. I get such a rush from getting onstage in front of an audience, challenging and inspiring them to give money for those less fortunate.

Describe your personal aesthetic in three words.

Elegant, tailored with a pop of color.

How do your home design choices compare to your style choices?

My home design choices are very similar to my style choices. I want my home to be inviting but also polished – and I always love color in unexpected places.

Tell us why you chose your Lalique selection. What about the design spoke to you?

I love the vase because it looks so simple, but when you get close you can see the incredible workmanship.

What is your fondest memory of jewelry?

Ever since I was a little girl I loved taking off my mom’s rings during church and putting them on my fingers. Something about the lighting in church made her rings sparkle like crazy.

Tell us why you chose your Latest Revival selections. What about the jewels and brands spoke to you?

I was immediately drawn to the earrings! I love wearing earrings that make a statement whether you wear them to dress up a casual outfit or headed to a black tie. The Fernando jorge necklace was absolutely exquisite; a little like the vase from a distance it looks simple but was so intricate when viewed up close. I also loved the vintage rings that I wore – so delicate and beautiful.

What is a piece of (clothing, accessory, jewelry, décor, etc) you can’t live without?

The ring my husband gave me when our third child was born – a three stone sapphire and diamond ring. Every time I look at it, it makes me think about my three kids.

What is your charitable cause of choice? Lalique & Latest Revival are committing a percentage of proceeds from your personal selections through online purchases October 7th through 21st

The River Fund
