Lulu Frost CODE

Designer Lisa Salzer studied art history at Dartmouth College before launching Lulu Frost Code in 2004 and each of her collections since – whether incorporating salvaged room numbers from the Plaza hotel, antique locks, chandelier crystal, or nineteenth century shoe buckles – reflect her interests in both the history of her materials and bold, graphic design. Salzer was awarded the Gen Art Styles Competition the year after she launched and has since collaborated with J.Crew, Erin Fetherston, DKNY, and Alexander Wang.

Code Fine Jewelry is based on Salzer’s deep appreciation of the symbolism found in classic Victorian jewelry motifs. Code draws on this inspiration by blending traditional concepts with a minimalist modern aesthetic, thereby reducing the design elements to their most personal and poignant.
